Allegra Spender is the CEO of the Australian Business and Community Network (ABCN), a group of 40 leading Australian corporations that inspire students to reach their potential in the future world of work. We enable volunteers from our member companies to deliver business-oriented mentoring and workplace experiences to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We work with over 200 schools round Australia and over 50,000 students have been mentored through ABCN programs since inception. Allegra studied Economics at the University of Cambridge and started her career at McKinsey & Company. She has diverse leadership experience from across the corporate, non-profit, private and public sectors, and was Chair of Sydney Renewable Power Company. Prior to joining ABCN, she was the Managing Director of the Australian fashion label Carla Zampatti.
