Sarah Wood is Director of Government Affairs for American Express Australia and New Zealand leading the company's engagement with policymakers and regulators on a range of issues relating to digital payments, lending, data, and privacy. 

Before joining American Express, Sarah worked in the Federal Governments as Chief of Staff to the Minister for Human Services and Digital Transformation, the Mister for Aged Care and Indigenous Health, and Senior Adviser to the Prime Minster. Prior to her time in government, Sarah worked as a corporate lawyer. 

Sarah is a graduate from the University of Western Australia.
